Fall is quickly approaching so this is the perfect time to build a chair in which you can sit and watch the leaves turn. Thankfully, Woodworkers Journal is providing a very detailed set of FREE PLANS for their Westport Chair.
Described as the Adirondack chair’s big brother, this Westport Chair has a similar, yet somehow more rustic, look. If you’ve built Adirondack chairs before you will find the construction familiarly simple with the solid back and seat being the big differences. Also, the arm rests are larger than those on most Adirondack chairs.
